Weapon Classes
Every weapon belongs to one of 16 classes. The class sets its damage types, reach, swing timing and where it sits on your back, and together with your off hand it picks your loadout.
Off Hand
2One Handed Melee
3Dagger
Swift blades for the relentless hunter. Daggers reward constant aggression
with momentum that powers devastating finishers. Strike from behind for
bonus damage, and never stop moving.
Sword
A one-handed blade. Quick cuts, honest reach, and an off hand free for
whatever else you carry.
Unarmed
Bare fists and feet for the scrappy brawler. Short range but fast recovery.
Punches deal stab damage; kicks deal crush damage.
Available to all players as the default combat style.
Two Handed Magic
4Fire Staff
A conduit for arcane power. Chain spells together for sustained damage,
and raise a barrier to absorb incoming attacks. The staff is the
foundation of all magic combat.

Two Handed Melee
4Greatsword
A blade taller than its wielder. Wide, unstoppable arcs that strike many
foes at once — if you can afford the swing.
Scythe
A long, double-bladed reaping polearm. Sweeping arcs at a distance no sword
can reach, carried one-handed and swung with the whole body.
Spear
A long-hafted thrusting spear. The reach of a polearm with the point of a
dagger — it keeps the fight at the length of the shaft.
Warhammer
A two-handed hammer. Slow, heavy, and every blow lands with the weight of
the whole body behind it.
